Yesterday was Sunday. I chance encountered a new church called Lifeway Church. They were meeting at the Great Escape Theater in the Lebanon Valley Mall, Lebanon, PA. Was wondering if they are any different than all the rest. Since I'm homeless, I went and asked for help. Like all other local churches, they referred me to other organizations. Christianity in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania is a joke. I am not say there aren't some good individuals in the churches. But the hierarchy of the churches are no anywhere close to being godly. Apparently they never heard of the good Samaritan. The churches are like the 3 Jews who passed the injured man by.
But, something good did come out of the day. One of the gentlemen I had a discussion with came looking for me afterwards. We had a very good conversation. During the conversation, we were talking about my knowledge of the Bible. I said something like, I could be a pastor. We were also talking about the church he attends normally. And he indicated I should apply for the job as Pastor at his church. He indicated the current Pastor was not doing a good job. Well, I'm thinking about.
I do believe the churches are the biggest problem in America. It would be nice if I would have a hand in changing it.
